BRIEF: Home of The Raven SUMMARY: The tavern has be remodeled several times. During the 1800s slaves were traded on the porch. Edgar Allen Poe wrote the poem "The Raven" at this tavern. SUMMARY: It is an area where many slaves were killed before and during the Civil War. It is said that many are still haunting the area. An old graveyard in the area is very active with ghostly hauntings. BRIEF: This restaurant's too small for two ghosts. SUMMARY: There is a ghost of a man that haunts a small restaurant in Kent County. The man was killed in the upstairs of a small restaurant. The ghost has been known to speak with their customers. Sometimes the guest is seem sitting at one of the tables. The ghost has been seen upstairs in one of the rooms. Some people have heard unexplained footsteps in the restaurant. BRIEF: Old lady in 30's/40's style day dress walking small white dog disappears SUMMARY: Along a small less-used segmented area of Gunpowder Falls State Park in Harford county, I have observed a strange occurrence 3 times in the past year or so. Along Laurel Bush road and Guyton road I have observed an old woman in a nice clean day dress and a big floppy bonnet like/gardening hat (1930's/40's style) walking a small clean white terrier dog. As I pass her she turns her back and looks down and picks her dog up always keeping her back to me passing in my truck. As I make the sharp curve to the left and turn around she is completely gone. BRIEF: "This ain't no normal kinda dog." SUMMARY: There is a ghostly dog know as the Snarly Yowl that haunt the main road in Boonsboro. The ghostly dog is know to challenge travelers as they travel their way in and out of town. The ghostly dog appears out of thin air and then it grows larger and larger.
