Today the mansion houses offices of the Park and Planning Commission of Montgomery County. The family who lived in the mansion kept many slaves. The old mansion is reportedly haunted by a slave who became pregnant with the master's child and was murdered so that no one would find out. Her ghost haunts the mansion.
