BRIEF: Orphange originally funded by wealthy Jewish families. Closed in 1923, but reopened a year later as West Baltimore General Hospital. For a time was the original Luthern Hospital. More than a few students living in the dorm have complained about being locked out of their rooms, having alarm clocks trigger for no reason; having objects moved or hidden; and hearing strange noises. It is said that the ghost has no facial features. BRIEF: Ghostly light banter and fare at this merry old tavern. SUMMARY: This old tavern is one of the oldest buildings in Annapolis. It was built in the mid 1700's. Horatio Middleton purchased the tavern. After he died it was then owned and operated by his son Samuel. The tavern is known to be haunted by many famous historical figures who once stayed at the tavern. Some of the ghostly people who haunt the building are Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington.
An apparition has been seen walking the halls of the tavern. The tavern is now a restaurant and bar. BRIEF: A castle built on the side of Warm Springs Ridge overlooking Berkeley Springs, WV SUMMARY: The castle was built by wealthy Maryland businessman Samuel Taylor Suit for his young bride, Rosa, in 1885. She was 29 years younger than him!
