BRIEF: They keep watch there SUMMARY: The house is haunted by ghostly spirits that keep a watch over the house. The ghost has been heard breathing on the stairs. The ghost has been seen walking across the yard of this historic house. SUMMARY: A tree grows directly from the grave of a witch buried in this cemetery. Local residents believe that if the tree is cut down or destroyed, the ghost of the witch will leave her grave and seek revenge on the families of those who caused her death. BRIEF: Apparitions and strange sounds have been reported in the big, old house in Waterville SUMMARY: Whitish shapes have been observed in an upstairs bathroom. Also, doorknocks on one of the upstairs bedrooms have been reported when there was no one around to be doing the knocking.
The house is a private residence. BRIEF: Haunted by an entire family SUMMARY: This road is haunted by an entire family. Every night at about 12 o'clock, this ghostly family of six people walk across the road. This ghostly family was reportedly hung for witchcraft in the early 1900's [?]. These ghostly apparitions have caused a number of accidents on the road late at night. BRIEF: They fought each other SUMMARY: Veterans Haven is located next to bayside prison ward and Ancora Mental Institution. The psychiatric hospital had many patients living at the hospital.
