BRIEF: A castle built on the side of Warm Springs Ridge overlooking Berkeley Springs, WV SUMMARY: The castle was built by wealthy Maryland businessman Samuel Taylor Suit for his young bride, Rosa, in 1885. She was 29 years younger than him! BRIEF: Two old buildings are haunted by "prankish spirits." SUMMARY: The museum is composed of two old buildings; one dates back to the 1865 and the other dates back to the 20th Century. The museum is said to be haunted by prankish spirits. Most of the strange unexplained activities occur in the oldest building. One day the librarian came out of the machine shop with his face as white as a ghost. He reported that the power saw had suddenly turned itself on. One of the employees suggested that it could have been a faulty switch. The Librarian said it was not a faulty switch. He reported that when he went to shut it off, he found the saw was not even plugged in. One evening an employee puts some heavy boxes in one place shortly before closing, and the next morning he found the boxes moved across the room. A tour guide saw a man in 19th-century dress walk right through a wall. The museum staff did some research and learned that there had once been a doorway at the spot where the ghostly apparition made its exit. Employees have heard giggling from little girl's when there are no little girls around. And they hear printing press running when nobody's there. The employees know that they are not alone. BRIEF: A dancy miniature human sculpture SUMMARY: A small African human sculpture, impaled with several shards of wood referred to as "nails," has been seen performing a tribal dance. There have also been reports of "loud crashes". BRIEF: Death by cabin. SUMMARY: A young girl named Margarite died in the Cabin, and her spirit still haunts the building. Lake is located in the Catoctin Mountains near Emmitsburg
